Bristol's Pioneering Healthier Communities presents Dr. Randy Wycoff — Dean of ETSU's College of Public Health presents "The Current (Desperate) Health of Our Region"October 27, 2010
Pioneering Healthier Communities
Our region is deep into a health crisis, and your role as a policymaker in our community can help us turn the corner on this problem.
Dr. Randy Wycoff, Dean of ETSU’s College of Public Health, understands the extent of this crisis and will be sharing an important, detailed perspective on the problem as part of a 90-minute health presentation and discussion on Thursday, October 28th, at Bristol’s Train Station.
Dr. Wycoff will lead a discussion on what can be done to turn this trend around. We will also share what Bristol’s Pioneering Healthier Communities movement is doing – today and in the future – to improve the health of our community. We hope this transformational meeting will set the stage for important policy changes that will affect every aspect of our community.
Please join us from 12 noon until 1:30 p.m. for this important gathering. A healthy lunch will be provided.
Sponsored by Bristol’s Pioneering Healthier Communities, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Center for Disease Control.
