Bearcats Bleed for Bristol

March 24, 2017

Virginia High School's senior class of 2017 has partnered with Marsh Regional Blood Bank to collect much needed blood. The seniors have taken up the challenge to be the first graduating class to have 100% of the graduates awarded the red cord. If a senior donates blood 3 times during their senior year, or has a representative donate for them, they will be awarded a red cord to wear at graduation. If we have all of our seniors earn a red cord, Marsh will award three seniors a $1000 scholarship. Anyone over the age of 17 may visit MARSH blood center on West State Street to donate. The donor must have the name of the senior they are representing.

To obtain the name of a senior who needs donations, contact Jinx Rasmussen at jrasmussen@bvps.org.
