A Locally Sustainable Business with Roots that Span the Globe.

November 28, 2011

Where’s Ben been??? Fine art photographer and Tri-Cities native Benjamin Walls has
racked up many more miles and images this year on his perpetual endeavor to capture
our natural world. This year’s New Releases include images from Tennessee, South Carolina, Hawaii, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah. New images are on the way from a summer trip to NYC and his fall trip to Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire.
In all, Ben has traveled over 1 million miles in the past 10 years; capturing images on
every continent except Antarctica. His inspiring landscape and wildlife images have
garnered attention from institutions such as the Smithsonian, The Natural History
Museum of London, Wild Planet, Natures Best, Wildlife Photographer of the Year, and
the BBC. Next month, his image “Mountains of the Sky” will appear on the cover of
Fjords, a new art and literary review publication out of Roanoke.

Ben’s fine art images are produced in limited edition and his collectors span the globe,
yet all of his images are now made in his new Tri-Cities studio. An ardent
conservationist, Ben’s designed every aspect of the operation, which recycles or reuses
100% of the excess raw materials used to create his images.

Ben also has a big heart for the community. This year he’s teamed up with
organizations like Girls Inc., Susan G. Komen, Abuse Alternatives, The Paramount
Center for the Arts, Believe in Bristol, Healing Hands, Crossroads Medical Mission, and
others to raise over $20,000 for local charities.

Ben is celebrating his 10-year anniversary on December 2nd from 7PM to 10PM at his
new Signature Gallery in downtown Bristol. All are welcome to attend. Cocktail
attire. You can find more information at BenjaminWalls.com or by visiting the Benjamin
Walls Gallery at 701 State St. in the heart of Historic Downtown Bristol.
