City of Bristol, TN Announce New Appointment to Economic Development Area

City officials announced the appointment of Kristi Haulsee to the city economic development team in the position of Economic Development Specialist. Ms. Haulsee most recently completed 10 years with the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce as Vice President for Member Services. Prior to her work with the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce, she worked for the Kingsport Chamber of Commerce, the Bank of Tennessee and SESCO Management Consultants. She also has served as a member of the board of regents of the Institute for Organization Management, an arm of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. She has a Bachelors Degree in Communications and a minor in Marketing from Appalachian State University.
In her position with the Economic Development Department she will work with Deputy City Manager Mike Sparks on matters related to the economic growth of the City, including job and business recruitment and retail development.

Ms. Haulsee and her husband are relocating back to Northeast Tennessee after 10 years in Chattanooga as the result of his transfer to the Gray office of TVA. “I have enjoyed my career with the Chamber of Commerce in Chattanooga but I have missed the mountains, I am extremely pleased to be coming back home,” said Haulsee.
