Cocktail reception at Benjamin Walls Gallery to Support "Tiger Now, Tiger Never"

February 25, 2013

Bristol native Benjamin Walls has photographed on six continents, won four international awards, and exhibited his work in some of the world's biggest museums, but he has not photographed the wild Bengal Tiger...yet! On February 8th, Walls officially launched "Tiger Now, Tiger Never," an ambitious effort to photograph the last remaining wild tigers in India. Walls plans to share those images in Bristol’s Benjamin Walls Gallery and other gallery/museum exhibits over the course of his career in order to raise awareness about the critically endangered cat. Ben's photographic safari hinges on his campaign to boost sales and raise funds for his trip scheduled for April and May. Thus far, Walls has seen a $20,000 surge in overall sales, but must reach his $40,000 goal by March 9th in order to see his project successfully funded. The campaign features a “Never Before Offered” discount of up to 20% off his fine art images, as well as other products starting at $25. There will be a cocktail reception at the Benjamin Walls Gallery on Saturday, March 2nd from 6-9PM to support this campaign. Ben will be sharing details of his tiger trip and debuting never-before-seen images at both events. Cocktail attire is requested, and all are welcome.

You can watch Ben’s "Tiger Now, Tiger Never" video, which gives full details about his trip on BenjaminWalls.com. You can contribute to Walls' trip by purchasing one of his photographs (see pricing by clicking on the video), by attending an event, or by sending contributions to the address below.

Walls, who has photographed dozens of wild predators and traveled to every continent except Antarctica, says “This is the biggest trip of my career. It’s going to be a dangerous, expensive, yet vital trip. My life’s mission is sharing the natural world with my audience. Your support will allow me to capture images of this elusive cat while it's still possible to find them in the wild.”
