Final Tribute Concert featuring AC/DC's Hell's Bells!

September 05, 2011

You have one more chance before the end of the season to see a nationally touring tribute band. The season began with a tribute to the band Aerosmith named Draw the Line. The band, which drew one of the largest crowds of the season at that point, performed and looked like clones of their rocker friends from Boston. They were followed by the band, 7 Bridges, which was a tribute to the Eagles. 7 Bridges rocked the house with standing ovations of the 1200 persons showing up on State Street to hear the sounds of the 80’s. The third band, The Frontiers, performed songs of Journey for another packed house.
The tribute band season will end with Hell’s Bells, “the best AC/DC tribute band on the planet” according to Rolling Stone Magazine.

For 15 years and counting, Hell’s Bells has been touring extensively performing shows in every state in the country and many countries throughout the world. Touring 50 weeks per year, the band salutes the driving force of AC/DC in a manner surpassed only by the real AC/DC. “It is a total energy, absolute pure adrenaline packed concert experience,” stated Darlene Cole, Venues Manager for the city. “They seem to have the look and sound of AC/DC down to an art. We are excited about bringing this band in and offering something new to the community.”

The show is scheduled for the Downtown Center located at 810 State Street on Thursday, September 8, 2011 @ 7:00 P.M. As always the concert is free to the public. There will be 500 chairs available for seating, so please come early or bring your own lawn chair. Food and drink will be available on site.
