King College Students "Share"

September 10, 2012

An exciting new partnership with King College’s Photography Department means more social media coverage than ever before during Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion. “Social media is a huge part of community building for us.” says Charlene Tipton Baker, Director of Marketing/PR for Bristol Rhythm. ”Our Facebook and Twitter accounts combined have 17,000 followers. We want to share something interesting and unique with them, through the experiences of real people attending our festival. Now we have the manpower to make it happen.”

King College students will be the official Social Media Team for Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion. The students will have credentials and t-shirts, adorned with the festival’s official hashtag, at the event. Their assignment? Simply to share their experience at the festival on social media. They’ll also encourage others to do the same.

For the most part, what the students share will be organic, but there will be some specific assignments that might involve the artists so stay tuned on Twitter (#BristolRhythm) and Facebook (@BristolRhythm) to find out what they have in store!
