State Street Farmers Market Customer Appreciation Day

October 06, 2010

Each year the State Street Farmers Market takes one day in which they officially
recognize the customers who keep the market alive. Through the years customers who
frequent the market are looked upon as friends of the farmers, with the farmers looking
forward to their weekly visits. During the year the farmers share with them everything
from their gardening techniques to recipes that will allow them to enjoy their fresh
bounty purchased at the market.

On Saturday, October 9, 2010 the market will host the 11th Annual Customer
Appreciation Day. There will be fresh biscuits, tomatoes, eggs, and all the hot coffee you
can drink. Bring the family, visit with a farmer and enjoy a free country breakfast.
Breakfast will be served from 8:00 A.M. — 10:00 A.M. or as long as supplies last.
While you are at the market pick up your free copies of the 2010 Farmers Market posters.
There are three posters that frame well for your kitchen or dining area.
The State Street Farmers Market is located in historic Downtown Bristol at 810 State
Street. The market opened in 1999 and has been recognized as one of the premier
markets in the state of Tennessee.
