Todd Shy at the Bristol Public Library as part of the King University Buechner Lecture Series

Todd Shy will be speaking at the Bristol Public Library on Monday, October 28 at 7pm as part of the King University Buechner Lecture Series. Todd Shy is an essayist, book reviewer, and educator who grew up in Bristol, Virginia, and now serves as humanities curriculum specialist at Avenues: The World School in New York City. A 2009 finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Balakian Citation for Excellence in Reviewing, Shy has chosen to focus on the intersection of religion and literature in his work. After completing a degree at the University of Virginia, he spent four years working for an Anglican clergyman in London, England, while also studying at King’s College London.
