We’re excited to announce that we are offering Beginning Genealogy on Wednesday, March 6 at 2:00 p.m. in the Jones Creativity Center.

Designed to help new and experienced genealogists, Beginning Genealogy is an introductory class on both online research and book resources. Participants will be able to learn more about using Ancestry and Heritage Quest, library resources, and creating family trees. Kristin will be teaching this free educational program and offering tips on how to best navigate genealogy online, as well as printed sources.

Space is limited, so pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Library computers will be available for patrons in the JCC, but participants may also bring their own laptops or electronic devices. For more information on Beginning Genealogy, please contact BPL at 276-645-8781 or ajohnson@bristol-library.org.
