Raspberry Pi: Weather Station
Raspberry Pis are inexpensive single-board computers ($10-35), popular with makers and for STEAM Education. In this workshop we will create a working weather station using Raspberry Pi.
Participants will connect a Temperature/Humidity/Pressure sensor and an OLED display to a Raspberry Pi, and use Python to program their weather station. There is no cost for the class, but participants who wish to take their project home, can purchase the kit for $30 which includes a Raspberry Pi Zero W, a 16 M Micro SD card, weather sensor, OLED screen, solderless breadboard.
No reservations required, however if you would like to purchase a kit, please contact us by Tue Jan 21.
