Join Bristol Public Library on April 11 at 5:30 p.m. for a special presentation on “Prohibition & Modern Moonshine.” Brian Edwards from the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) will be at the library to discuss the impact of Prohibition and its legacy, as well as the modern growth of legal and illegal moonshine.

Edwards’ visit to the library coincides with the library's current gallery installation, "Teetotalers & Moonshiners: Prohibition in Virginia, Distilled," a traveling exhibition from the Library of Virginia presented with support from the Virginia ABC and the Virginia Distillers Association. "Teetotalers & Moonshiners" will be available and open to the public in the Virgie R. Fleenor Gallery during the library’s hours of operation, until April 28, 2018.
