About the event
In 1927, a record producer set up a microphone in a Bristol storefront. The recordings that came out of those two weeks (the Carter Family, Jimmie Rodgers, a handful of others) built country music from the ground up.
We're spending the next year honoring that legacy.
Bristol Sessions Nights is a 12-night songwriter series running monthly through the 2027 centennial of the original Bristol Sessions. One stage. Real songwriters. The stories behind every song.
