About the event

On Friday, April 5, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., downtown will be filled with art lovers and connoisseurs, as several galleries and some local favorites join together to host another Art D’Vine event! This art walk offers patrons the chance to gain after-hours access to merchants, sample delicious refreshments, and enjoy a range of works from artists across the region.

As with the previous gallery hops, participants are invited to stroll around Historic Downtown Bristol, stopping and enjoying all that our downtown has to offer! Guests may pick up and turn in their “passports” at any participating establishment. Believe in Bristol asks that guests use the hashtag #FirstFridaysBristol and/or turn in their completed passport at the end of the night for chances to win a downtown prize!

This Art D’Vine will include the following merchants  as hosts:

  • Axe & Ale House | Pop-up art show featuring almost a dozen local artists with live music to follow
  • *Benjamin Walls Gallery | Fine art from five-time Smithsonian exhibitor, Benjamin Walls
  • Cheap Thrills Records | A unique collection of velvet paintings
  • Sessions Rooftop | Works by Kandee Phillips & Abby Williams
  • HollerHouse | Community Spotlight featuring 15 new & emerging local artists and live music
  • Urban Thistle Bakery & Bistro | Paintings by Dakari Wheeler and  Michelle Damron, and wood craft by Ray and Deb Wolfe

  • Studio 6 will also be offering extended shopping hours and exclusive in store discounts!

*Some businesses will stop accepting passports at 8pm due to restricted hours or scheduled live music that evening.

Each of the galleries will feature varieties of wine, beer, or non-alcoholic beverages for sampling.

This event is free to the public, though there is a suggested one-time donation of $5 with the proceeds supporting the work of the Arts & Entertainment District of Historic Downtown Bristol, TN/VA.
