Bring the whole family on Friday, Dec. 8 at 7:30 p.m. to join in holiday magic this season for Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel, A Fairy Tale Opera in English at E&H’s McGlothlin Center for the Arts.
The local opera collective focuses on accessible opera in the English language, featuring regional and professional artists.
Enjoy pre-show live holiday jazz, hors d'oeuvres, cider, and a kids' gingerbread house making contest, a local artisan Christmas market, and pictures with Santa, all while you mingle before the show in the splendor of the beautifully decorated lobby. Here, you will cross paths with St. Nick, the sugar plum fairy, the baking witch, and of course, our heroes–Hansel and Gretel!
