Fall 2026 RAD registration is open!
We're excited to announce registration is live for our Fall 2026 Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) classes! Running over four evenings from Tuesday, October 6, through Thursday, October 15, this course is offered free of charge in partnership with the Bristol TN Police Department. Open to women and to girls ages 13 and up (with a parent/guardian), these sessions provide a safe, supportive space to learn realistic physical defense tactics, risk awareness, and hands-on safety strategies.
We are proud to host these classes in October as part of our focus on women’s safety during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, as well as YWCA's national Week Without Violence, which centers this year on the safety, voices, and healing of our young people—ensuring the next generation has the tools they need to truly thrive.
