Trees bursting in red, orange, and yellow, crisp morning air, football, and the scent of pumpkin spice – fall has arrived in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia, bringing Explore Bristol’s Pumpkin Spice Latte Trail with it. 

The site - psltrail.com - celebrates fall’s favorite flavor while offering visitors a tool to explore every Bristol location that features unique autumn-infused products.

The popularity of all things pumpkin during this time of year goes hand in hand with the region’s beautiful fall foliage, which attracts visitors from across the country. South Holston Lake, where the surrounding Appalachian Mountain views burst with vibrant colors as temperatures cool and autumn arrives, is one of the region’s top spots for “leaf lookers,” along with Steele Creek Park and the Mendota Trail.

“We unveiled the website last year, and it was an immediate success,” said Matt Bolas, Executive Director of Explore Bristol. “As we all know, pumpkin spice is very popular during the fall, and the visitors who come to the region, as well as the locals who enjoy visiting the many businesses in the area, appreciate being able to find what they’re looking for quickly. 

“This site helps everyone find their favorite fall treats - whether it’s fudge, ice cream, drinks, bagels, pastries, ciders, distilled spirits, or dip mixes. It also promotes our local businesses, which really embrace the season with their wide range of products.”

There are more than 30 locations along the Pumpkin Spice Latte Trail, including Blackbird Bakery, Bristol Bagel and Bakery, Pins & Friends, Aroma Coffee House, Tennessee Hills Distillery, and Southern Churn. You can also vote for your favorite locations on the Explore Bristol website.
