BPL Seed Library Unveiling

To kick off National Library Week, the Bristol Public Library invites you to join us for the unveiling of our new Seed Library! This initiative allows patrons to take home up to five packets of seeds, enabling them to grow herbs, vegetables, and flowers. This valuable resource is made possible by a generous donation in memory of Pereda “Pete” Paty, a former library board member and community leader. The Virginia High School Horticulture Department has generously provided the initial seeds to launch the program. We will also have information available on how to save seeds, along with details about future gardening programs and workshops. The unveiling will take place at noon on Monday, April 7, on the upper level, near the Circulation Desk.
