About the event

In partnership with the Birthplace of Country Music MuseumBristol Public Library and Washington County (VA) Public Library, and as part of their NEA Big Read programming, Hoot and Holler Stories returns to Historic Downtown Bristol at 7 p.m. EDT, Nov. 2. The event will be held at the museum; there is no cost to attend, but folks are asked to RSVP. 


Hoot and Holler is a live storytelling event based in Roanoke, Va. that builds community by encouraging people to step up and share their true stories in a supportive, diverse, and empowering format. The theme for the evening is "River Wide, Mountain High: Stories of Where We Live."
