Jeff Woods is a vocal powerhouse & performer. He is a singer & songwriter with a pedigree of soul, rock, blues, and americana styles. Born in East TN, he was raised in a musical family that has performed on The Grand Ole Opry stage. Through out his young life to adulthood, Jeff would be a front man for several bands & groups. He grew up listening to artists that created music in places like: Motown, Muscle Shoals, Memphis, Chicago, Nashville, and his home roots of Bristol, TN. His pallet of loving such a various group of artists & being influenced by them, has helped shape his unique talent to make him versatile enough to sing on any stage.

After attending college at MTSU, he would go on to record with some of the most well known songwriters & musicians in the Nashville music scene. In 2014, Jeff released his first album "Roots & Redemption" and his first single “Happy” is still one of his most popular & successful songs. In 2018, Jeff released his second album, "The Count" - a concept album to represent his love of retro-soul mixed with modern undertones of blues. The Nashville Scene Magazine declared that “The Count” Album was one of the best blues/r&b projects of 2018 in all of Nashville.

After many intensive years of playing gigs & touring, Jeff released a string of singles. The hit song “Best Summer” released in the summer of 2021, earned heavy rotation on several Spotify Playlists and independent radio stations nationally & globally.

The “Jeff Woods Band” is one of Nashville’s most successful local bands. Blending a heavy dose of covers & originals that range anywhere from soul, rnb, rock, funk, blues, and americana. Along with Jeff on the mic, the band offers a high energy show with a killer line up of musicians with solid backgrounds playing for well known artists. Jeff has opened for legends like: Kansas, Steve Cropper, Joe Bonamassa, John Berry, KC-i & JoJo, and many others.

His unique voice & style draws musical comparisons to his wide influences like: Marc Broussard, Amos Lee, Jonny Lang, Allen Stone, Chris Stapleton, Alabama Shakes, Hall & Oates, Babyface, Stevie Wonder, John Mayer, Tedeschi Trucks Band, The Black Crowes, The Staple Singers, Bill Withers, The Rolling Stones. He has been called a “storyteller of the soul” & you will feel his passion & heart in every note performed.
