The Blue Ridge Opry is a nostalgic country music variety show inspired by the early days of the Grand Ole Opry and the heyday of classic country stars like Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, Uncle Dave Macon, The Carter Family, and more. The program is hosted and produced by singer and multi-instrumentalist Kelley Breiding and features a variety of musical guest stars, comedy, and dancers from the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Blue Ridge Opry performance on November 18 will feature regional women in old-time music, as both a celebration and partnership with the Birthplace of Country Music Museum’s I’ve Endured: Women in Old Time Music exhibit, on display through December 31, 2023. The event is in partnership with the Southwest Virginia Cultural Center.
